Job Description

Overseeing all construction activities on a project and acting as Western Water’s primary representative in the field, Superintendents are our top problem solvers and most skilled builders.

 

Duties

  • Attend project meetings and represent Western Water
  • Understand and implement the project schedule, manpower, and safety requirements
  • Review submittals and generate work plans
  • Direct field personnel
  • Provide input to the Project Manager for scheduling
  • Coordinate and inspect the work of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of project execution

 

Qualifications

  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Field experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
  • OSHA certification and a commitment to safety
  • Experience on public works projects; water and wastewater experience a plus
